No, not with anything contagious.. Resident Evil is by far my favorite game series of all time. I’ve been hooked on it since the day I had to rent a PS1 from Blockbuster to play it. The original PS1 version has a special place in my heart — The live actors, bad voice overs, pre-rendered enviroments, static camera angles. It’s all just pure gold. Granted #4 and now #5 follow a different formula, I can’t help but break out the wallet when Capcom calls.
I’ll be picking up the PS3 collector’s edition on the 13th and the Xbox 360 elite [red] limited edtion bundle soon after. These LE 360 bundles are all Jasper units with the new 65nm cpu/gpu. If you’re looking for a new 360 that won’t RROD on you, this is one to get right now.
Very few companys have managed to part me with money like Capcom has done with Resident Evil. I’ve got a decent collection that I will post up soon.
Oh, and I hope everyone enjoys the new RE theme on the website.

I can not tell you how many times I played the original. That and Street Fighter Alpha were the main games that I bought the original PS1 for on it’s launch day.

You can do this on your existing account. Go to the user control panel > users > your profile.. Change the nickname slot to whatever you want and click apply. Refresh the page and that nickname will be in the pull down box “Display name publicly as” … Apply again and that’s it.

I remember my first playthrough of the original Resident Evil. I had one of the first released Playstations and it had the nasty habit of skipping. This just made the horrible dialog of the game even worse. I loved every minute of it though.
